Profile

I live in North Yorks with my wife and daughter. About 6 years ago developed ME. I had to give up work and all my active hobbies as well as motorcycling. I found that one hobby I could do wasrelaxing, stimulating and creative. That was spinning which led onto weaving and I followed on with doing bits of woodwork to make items I needed. However my health deteriated due to a virus causing my heart to swell culminating on January 30th 2004 I had to have a heart transplant.
Now I am far better than I have been for a few years. I am indebted to my donor Ian and his family. A wonderful gift and someone who I will never be able to thank.
I can ride my motorcycles and go for walks and do things I had not expected to do before my transplant.

Just discovered your blogs. I was touched by your story and am hoping this note finds you quite well.

Thank you for posting photos of the Yarnshifter. I'm fascinated by it! Seed Power web site is defunct and I'm having no luck find in one.

Be well to you and yours!
